The Hinge - Mixed Use Development | Indianapolis, IN
This landmark building is located directly off the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, between downtown Indianapolis and the city’s Fountain Square cultural district. The mixed-use building includes commercial and restaurant space and 56 apartments above a ground-level parking garage. Working alongside the architect, CE Solutions developed multiple options to determine the most cost-effective framing solution for the project. A green roof—with gathering areas on the open-air second floor area—separates the two-story restaurant and office area from the adjacent garage and residential units. For this project feature, CE Solutions’ knowledge of waterproofing systems provided added value to the team.
