A majority of Gus’ childhood was spent building things out of Legos. So much so, his dad banned him and his brother from asking for Legos for birthdays and at Christmas because he felt they had too many, which is something Gus vehemently disagrees. In school, he loved math and science and was always working ahead to turn everyday tasks into math problems. And, since he could no longer ask for Legos, he started asking for books on buildings instead. All of this influenced his decision to get into the engineering profession.

Being new to Indiana, Gus was drawn to CE Solutions due to the sense of community. “CE Solutions seemed to most prepare people for their future career,” Gus says. “I was also really impressed by the entire office giving an interview as well.”

Gus spends his time away from the office being active. He enjoys cycling, kayaking, hiking, or walking somewhere new. He also likes to read and listen to classical music. During the fall, you will find him watching college football, particularly his alma mater (Hail State!) and mapping out solutions to the typical playoff fiasco.
